What's in the Mystery Box?

The Mystery Box is a simple game built around curiosity, discussion, and shared imagination.

Every week, a single secret item (one out of 1,000,000 possible items) is placed inside the mystery box. It could be a person, place, object, idea, event, story, show, invention, phrase, or anything else.

The box starts with one hint. Then, every 100.8 (+-) minutes, a new hint is revealed. Over the course of a week, 100 hints are released in total.

The hints are not random. Every group of 10 hints points to one hidden component. Each component is one part of the larger mystery. Once players identify enough components, they can work together to guess the final item inside the box.

So the structure is simple:

10 hints → 1 component
10 components → 1 item

After seven days, the box opens. The item is revealed, the mystery ends, and a new one begins.

There are no points. No winners. No losers. No rankings. The goal is not to beat other people. The goal is to think together. The goal is to have fun.
